Report Generation API

Generate polished report PDFs from Markdown or templated HTML — for scheduled analytics reports, exports, and dashboards that need a shareable document.

Markdown is the natural output format for both scheduled jobs and language models, which makes this the usual last step in a reporting or agent pipeline.

Example

import requests

r = requests.post(
    'https://api.inkspan.dev/v1/generate/markdown',
    headers={'X-API-Key': 'ink_live_...'},
    json={
        "markdown": "# Q3 Report\n\n| Metric | Value |\n|---|---|\n| Signups | 1200 |"
    },
)
r.raise_for_status()
with open('document.pdf', 'wb') as f:
    f.write(r.content)
